Community Solar in Mac-Grove

Mac-Grove residents now have access to solar and savings on monthly electricity bills - without installing solar at their own homes.

Through community solar gardens, neighbors join together to purchase their electricity at a discount through a large solar array (3 to 5 acres.) Participating households will save 10% on their electricity bills. Twin Cities neighborhoods are teaming up with the Alliance for Sustainability to sign up 500 neighbors to join a community solar garden with MN Community Solar.
