Executive Director: Liz Boyer

Liz joined the Community Council in 2013.  Her background includes work in government, non-profit and philanthropic sectors on a variety of issues including water management, land use planning, transportation and community engagement.  She lives in the Macalester-Groveland neighborhood with her husband and two kids. 

Business Manager: Bethany Gladhill

Bethany Gladhill is an experienced consultant in non-profit and arts management. She has been with the Council since 2004, first as a consultant, and then joining the regular staff in 2009.  As well as working for Macalester-Groveland, Bethany's clients include a wide range of non-profits, from a circus school to a labor union. She specializes in financial management, personnel and human resources, marketing and social media, fundraising, grantwriting, strategic planning, evaluation, and general management for both on-going and periodic clients. Gladhill holds a BA from Tufts University and a Masters of Historic Preservation from Goucher College, Baltimore. She and her writer/consultant husband aspire to "bring up right" their 5-year old daughter Beatrix (soon to be a kindergartener at Randolph Heights!), and to that end Beatrix spends a lot of time at meetings, community events, park clean-ups, and arts festivals.

Program and Communications Coordinator:

Britta Sherrill

Britta joined the staff of the community council in July 2016. Previously, Britta was the Curator of the annual children's artwork exhibit, the ARTwalk, presented by the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. In addition to her background in visual arts, Britta furthered developed her administration skills as the Communications intern for the Lyra Baroque Orchestra, based in Lowertown Saint Paul. She is thrilled to be a part of the Mac-Grove community and looks forward to planning and executing neighborhood events and programs!
