Who can vote?
Residential grid representatives are elected by community members who are 18 years of age and older and living in their grid (including renters and homeowners).
At-large residential representatives are elected by community members who are 18 years of age and older and living in Macalester-Groveland (including renters and homeowners).
For example, a resident of grid 1 can vote for two – grid 1 residential representatives and two – at-large residential representatives. A resident of grid 2 can vote for two -at-large residential representatives.
Proposed bylaw changes can be voted on by Residential Members, homeowners and renters in Mac-Grove, and Organizational Members: students, business owners, landlords, educational institutions, and religious institutions in Mac-Grove.
How do I vote?
An electronic election ballot will be available on the board elections page on Thursday, April 21st, 2022. Paper ballots will be available by request. To request a paper ballot, please email staff at mgcc@macgrove.org.
Ballots will be accepted from Thursday, April 21st, 2022 through Thursday, April 28th, 2022. Mailed paper ballots must be postmarked no later than Thursday, April 28th, 2022.
Each residential community member in Mac-Grove can submit 1 ballot.
