Mac-Grove Fest 2023

There are multiple opportunities to get involved!

Whether you are a business/organization wanting to connect with local residents, an artist or crafter looking to sell/showcase your work, or a musician or artist looking to provide a live performance/interactive art activity.

Business/Organization registration

Deadline to Register: July 14th

The business marketplace is an area for local businesses/organizations to connect face-to-face with community members, sell non-art related products, do a giveaway (we ask that you try to use recyclable, reusable, or compostable items to giveaway), and/or provide an activity related to their business. This area will be separate from the makers market and is intended for individuals or groups to market their businesses and services!  Not sure whether you should register for the makers market or business marketplace? Makers Market Registration

Deadline to Register: July 14th

The makers market is an opportunity for local artists/crafters to sell and showcase your artwork. Whether you make jewelry, paintings, embroidery, ceramics, screen printed clothing, or any other type of art/crafts, you are welcome to participate! This area will be separate from the business marketplace and is intended only for individuals or groups who create art that they would like to sell for profit. Call for Musicians and Artists

Deadline to apply: June 1st

We are currently looking for talent to participate in the fest, including stage performances and interactive art activities. If you or someone you know might be interested in learning more,  contact us. If you are looking to sell or showcase your art/craft, please register for the makers market! This application is only for individuals who would like to perform on stage or provide a free interactive art activity for Mac-Grove Fest participants. Artist stipends will be given to both musicians and art activity artists.

Important Reminders

  • Outdoor booth spaces are 10’x10’. Exhibitors are required to furnish a tent with canopy. Tents must be free standing with pole weights; staking tents into the ground is not allowed.
  • Tables are 30″ x 8′. Every exhibitor may opt for 1 table and 2 chairs with their registration. For reserving double spaces, please submit the form again.
  • Vendors must remain at their exhibit area during event hours. When available, volunteers may be used for short relief periods. Smoking is prohibited in Saint Paul parks; no smoking is allowed in the booths.
  • Vendors retain all proceeds from their sales and are responsible for collecting and reporting appropriate taxes. Valid Minnesota Sales Tax ID certificate must be displayed clearly in the artist’s tent. Be sure to complete the ST-19 form and file with the Macalester-Groveland Community Council.
  • The Edgcumbe Rec Center fields are located in the heart of Macalester-Groveland, a neighborhood in Saint Paul. Macalester-Groveland is bounded by the Mississippi River to the West, Ayd Mill Road to the East, Summit Avenue to the North, and Randolph Avenue to the South. Mac-Grove Fest is not restricted to Macalester-Groveland residents, businesses, artists, groups, and organizations.
  • Dependent on the weather, expected attendance is 1,000. Event is held rain or shine; no refunds are issued.
  • Final exhibitor details will be sent via email in late August leading up to the event. Please direct any questions to Alyssa Mitchell, Program and Communications Coordinator: alyssa@macgrove.org or 651-695-4000.

Remember to send an ST19 form if you plan on selling goods at the event.

Zero Waste

Please help us in our zero waste efforts and refrain from giving away items that are heavily packaged or contain plastic. Think recyclable, reusable, or compostable!
